I am submitting this review on behalf of my husband Barry, he had a laryngectomy operation in 2007 for throat cancer & was under the care of ENT Consultant , Barry's cancer was at stage 4 & the prognosis wasn't good. We are in no doubt that the expert & outstanding care given by the consultant & his team is the reason he survived & is now living a happy & fulfilled life. What stands out most for me was the concern & respect shown to us both at a very traumatic time, we will always be grateful to them all. Barry still sees the team as an outpatient when he needs a new valve fitting (they once performed this service on a Bank Holiday!) but normally it's done by a Macmillan nurse who has been so kind & supportive, with nothing being too much trouble & that we now consider a trusted friend. Thanks also for Barry's rehab care. The whole ENT team that supported us were & are amazing.
"Life Saving."
