"Who needs private care?"

I am a retired GP with a relative who worked as a doctor at your hospital 4 years ago. She was extremely unhappy working in a hospital where the patient seemed to be of little importance and the staff were very unpleasant; so she moved away. Recently I attended to see a doctor and their team in outpatients, where the treatment I got was first class. I then went to Ultra sound where again I was cared for, and then on subsequent visit to Nephrology was again treated as a very important person. Everyone from porter to consultant was so very kind and caring that I really enjoed my visits. I was never kept needlessly waiting and the care I received was decidely up to private standards. As a long term supporter and worker within the NHS, this makes me very proud. Keep up the good work!
