"Fine tuning"

About: William Harvey Hospital

As stated on this website, the wait is 50 days to get an appointment which I find frustrating. However, on my two visits so far I have been seen promptly and been very satisfied with my treatment. There is a problem, however, when the treatment doesn't work (as sometimes happens) and a 'follow up' appointment is needed before the predesignated 'follow up' time, e.g. three months. The Canterbury number given for outpatient appoints is of no use as their hands appear to be 'tied'! A system needs to be put in place whereby a patient can return quickly when the need is urgent.
