My father was admitted to ward 6 with advanced bowel cancer. He was in Hospital for a total of 8 weeks and then he passed away on ward 6 in late May 2014.
I would like it to be known that the nursing staff from the tea ladies to the Staff nurses and nurses were just excellent in my opinion. I found them very caring and very helpful and they all came across to me and my family as very sympathetic to our father who was dying.
After Dad passed away they even put flowers and a scented candle in the room and displayed his get well cards from friends and family. This was, in my opinion, a very caring touch and went way beyond the call of duty. I would like to say a big and sincere thank you to all the doctors and staff of Ward Six.
