i went into labour in jan and had to have emergency c section has he were breech the dr who did was fantastic but the midwife didnt let me see my baby she weighed him and told my partner to take him straight out so i only had a quick look at him which really upset because everything was fine when i went up to the trinity ward i didnt even have chance to say bye to partner when i was on the ward i was numb in my legs so couldnt move and my baby were cryin in the night and i couldnt get up to see to it so i rang the buzzer it took 20 mins for someone to come i was spoken to like a pieace of something on the floor after that i felt like i couldnt ring the buzzer has i had no one to relie on i had to stay in there for four days and i hated it i have been on different ward and there are really good it would be nice fo someone to have a word with the midwifes

We're really sorry to read the comments that Janey and Archie's mum have made. We will make sure that they are passed to staff, but I hope they will both contact our Advice Centre on 01246 512640. We would like to put both of these new mums in touch with the senior matron for maternity services so we can find out more about what happened. We can only learn from patients' experiences and apologise if they feel the level of care we provided fell short of the standards we would epxect. Sarah Turner-Saint, Head of Communications
