My friend made a serious attempt to take his own life. He wants help. He has been in Llandough and Whitchurch for a few weeks. Nothing seems to be able to be put in place to help him, the services seem to be completely lacking.
If he stays in he will get '2 weeks of the same' i.e. nothing - apparently no psychologists are available to talk to suicide attempts! If he is let out there is a long waiting list for a psychologist. He will be seen by a community nurse. This really will not be enough.
I fear for his life.
