Looking back at my stay on Angus McKinnon Ward From the minute I entered the ward for treatment , the kindness , friendliness , and above all the confidence felt was immense. In a moment in my hand was one of many cups of tea provided by the head of ward catering. The Consultant Doctor confirmed and further explained my upcoming treatment. He asked me about my cat and who would be looking after it during my hospital stay , I was amazed he knew of my home life concerns This overall attention was reflected by nurses and ward staff throughout my stay. I have particular praise for the nurses , I cant name them all here but they know , because they became friends without compromising the skill and care provided on a daily basis. I was in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital for five months due to the nature of my wound area. Now its been almost six weeks back home My cat Oye and me are very happy The thanks I offer can in no way express the gratitude owed to the hospital
