I telephoned today to find out if my daughter was was ok to go ahead with a planned anti- TNF injection as she was unwell and taking antiobitics. An extremely helpful nurse answered the phone. She said she was only covering for half an hour in the department as they were short staffed ( said she was from dermatology) so didn't know anything about rheumatology and therefore coudl not answer my question. However, she went to great lengths to help - took down my query and went to find a doctor who could provide guidance. She called me back within 10 minutes with a full answer and explanation regarding what we should do. Certainly put my mind at rest. A real credit to the nursing profession. Thank you Nurse !
