"More like a get well hotel."

About: North Tyneside General Hospital

The service from E.R , upon admission , to the staff and help received at ward 22 was exceptional , and was basically a get well hotel , a bad health experience , but a great place to be looked after , top marks to all concerned .

Dear Steve & Steph

I am so sorry that you experienced a sudden deterioration in your health to bring you in to hospital. I imagine this felt pretty frightening for you.

I am delighted that every aspect of your care has been excellent. As a trust we want to ensure that all our patients have access to care that is high in quality, caring and safe. Thanks for taking the time to share that this is exactly how it felt for you - it means a great deal to us.

I love your description of the hospital as a “get well hotel“. I hope you don't mind if I steal it when training and supporting our staff!

I do hope that you continue to recover well,

With best wishes and thanks again,

Annie
