Staff were always very friendly, but at times they would forget certain duties (such as delivering medication and taking out catheters). This seemed to be due to the fact that the wards were, more often than not, understaffed.
The cleanliness of the ward left a lot to be desired. The sink was blocked for the whole months stay. If there was more staff then I think a lot of the pressures could have been resolved.
