Today my husband who has finally got an appointment monday to see consultant after many months trying to get an appointment recieved a phone call from balmoral reception telling him the consultants had told to ring him up to tell him to come wednesday instead as they are very busy.We were discusted as i said he has had a job to get this appointment in the first place it has took many phone calls complaints emails ect from both of us.My husband is registered blind although has slight vision.He has been going to leicester royal eye clinic since 2000 when told he had uveitis his eyes got steadly worse and registered blind did not have brain scan for 10 yrs then sent for 1 recent found to have multiple sclerosis.Had been on predisolone 14 yrs and now has oestoperosis as a result of medication prescribed by opthalmology department.He is very depressed and under psychologist was going to see them wednesday, so why should he change his opthalmology appointment as needs psychology appointment.
