"Wivenhoe ward"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I spent most of April in the Wivenhoe ward as my bile duct ruptured twice and I had peritonitis and a reaction to the antibiotic. I can not praise the staff on the Wivenhoe ward enough. Every one was kind, thoughtful and thoroughly professional. Despite feeling very poorly, the level of competence and care demonstrated by the staff meant that I remained calm and felt like I was in very safe hands. Can not thank them enough.
