My Brother was admitted to A&E on Tuesday17 th June. Having only had experience of KGH with my late husband I was struck by the welcoming attitude of your reception staff, smiles are few and far between at KGH. The A&E area was spotless, the staff caring and attentative, once again unusual at KGH. The treatment and care my Brother received was exemplary. It was the same when he was transferred to CDU. I would like to move to your area, so I too could be looked after so well if I should ever need the services of A&E

We're so pleased to learn how well you and your brother felt cared for when attending the Lister's emergency department recently. When people come to such a service, there is often a great deal of anxiety and uncertainty going on - which is why it is even more important that our staff (and especially those with whom people come in to contact first) are welcoming and sympathetic at all times. The team (especially our receptionists) will be delighted to read your kind words and we do hope that your brother is making a good recovery.
