I went in for a Hernia op on the 13th of June carried out in the day surgery unit. I can offer nothing but genuine thanks to all the staff there, from the consultants downwards who were without doubt superb in the way they treated me and how they conducted the journey from entering the unit to leaving later in the day. Too many people are quick to slam the NHS etc. yet from viewing from the outside as such, you can see that they work themselves into the ground to ensure everything they do culminates in your wellbeing. There are individuals who were utterly lovely, especially when I came round after the surgery, this was the first time I had ever had a general and I was terrified to say the least, but waking up to such cheerful staff took away any fears I originally had. All the staff were wonderful, they deserve huge credit for the work they do and the consultant and his team were a delight to be treated by. Can never thank you enough.
"Thank you"
