It is almost three years now since I underwent open heart surgery for two new valves and a double by-pass at the QMC. The treatment I received was excellent. The care and attention was second to none. However, three weeks after the operation I was back in hospital with water retention.
The nurses were super. After another three weeks in hospital I came home a new person. I have no quarrel with my treatment from the NHS.
