"Bad hospital experiences on 2 separate occasions"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Trauma and orthopaedics Good Hope Hospital / Accident & emergency

(as the patient),

Around 6 months ago, one of my daughters had a car accident (nothing major) when she was 3 months pregnant, so as a precaution I took her to be checked over at the Good Hope hospital in Sutton Coldfield, where one of the doctors asked her during her brief examination if she was from 'good stock' as though she were a sheep or cow maybe.

2 years ago I had keyhole surgery at Doncaster for a torn cartilage in my knee. I was told it was a minor operation and that it would heal quickly. They removed all of the cartilage in my knee leaving bone on bone. Now I am in constant pain and cannot run or walk well up and down slopes.

All in all, wonderful treatment on each of my visits to hospital!
