"doncaster mental health services "

About: Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health

(as the patient),

I have been suffering with my mental health. For many years. I have been on many different medications, none has worked. tried many different groups, and single counselling sessions.

The only medication that cures my mental health is having my children with me. Taking on the diagnosis I was given adjustment disorder, but was only made aware of this, this year in January, now aware of what triggers bringing on the self harming. and other life threatening behaviors. is my ex husband stopping me seeing my children, I moved away with my 3 girls because of domestic violence.

My children were not returned to me after a visit to their dad's. he wanted custody. My illness kicked in not being able to adjust to the situation and the cruel games that I thought he was playing. I was taken to St. Catherines. had assessments. been in touch with crisis team. had support workers. But things just got worse. I only recently spoke to a member of the crisis team, to be told they had to get of the phone. I have now been made aware there is a time limit not only on the phone but now on human life. the conversation ended. I rang back to be told by the switch board nobody is available to talk. I am in a constant circle.

In my view my ex is controlling and social services, access team. police are all aware of the situation of his behaviour and how it's effecting my oldest daughter, because of how it's effecting my mental health. that circle. The discrimination shown towards me in my view is disgusting and the emotional impact it's having on my children because social services and other organisations have no clue or the knowledge on mental health.
