"The Circle Bath Experience"

About: Circle Bath

Pleasant surgical experience? Surely an oxymoron! But no... being greeted courteously, then escorted to the surgical area, being seated in a comfortable chair and offered a glass of water - a unique start. Nurses and all staff so kind. The anaesthetist actually shook my hand when greeting me. He handled my anxieties sensitively and gave me confidence. The surgeon was equally courteous and gave me choices; I felt involved! Post op care was just that. I felt more than just a number on the list. Nicely served cup of tea with decent biscuits was a great touch. Post op visit from the anaesthetist and the surgeon was also welcome. Kindly attention while waiting for transport home. The proverbial icing on the cake was a call from the hospital next day 'just to see how you are'. Really a very good experience. I know it is your job but thank you.
