"Excellent care at Whitechapel EGU"

We have benefitted twice now from first rate care at the 8th Floor Emergency Gynae Unit at the London. The staff there balance professionalism with great kindness. This holds true for everyone from the ward clerk who receives and registers patients to the nurses, specialist midwives and doctors. Visiting the EGU had the potential to be a stressful experience, and indeed inevitably still was to a degree, but we have on each visit had all of our questions answered patiently and helpfully and felt greatly cared for. Whenever we have been there, there has been a sense of workmanlike calm about the place which, as a patient, gives you confidence that you are being looked after by people who know what they are doing. I hope that those who manage the unit see this review for it has been our experience that things are done very well there and with appropriate sensitivity, in what can be very challenging circumstances.
