"Pathology services in Rushden"

For some time now the only place in Rushden to get a blood test has been rectory road clinic. this service has always been very erratic, but of late has become nearly useless. Despite being advertised by local surgeries as open daily from 8 o clock, it does not open till 8. 30. It is regularly closed, and the only way to find this out is to turn up and find a sign in the window. When you have had to take time off work for a fasting blood test it is very inconvenient to then have to travel through rush hour traffic to Nene park. when you then fight your way through rush hour traffic to, you find a huge waiting time as all the people from Rushden have had to travel there. It seems to me that the NHS are deliberately running this facility down, and make it awkward so people will not bother, and then say it will have to close a it is under used. We need this facility in Rushden to remain open as nearly all other service re now at Nene park and require transport as it is out of the way.
