"the nurse who was with me during ..."

About: The James Cook University Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

the nurse who was with me during my biopsy was lovely, she reassured me even though the doctor was very very rough

What could be improved

more order, i had to wait for my mamogram and the nurses where laughing and chatting whislt i waited.

Anything else?

i've been waiting months for an operation and it's supposed to be next month though i still havent got a deffinate date for it, it's going to be a week before my birthday because it's been pushed back that much, which makes it hard to arrange things, the staff when you call through are so unresponsive and you really get nowhere.

Thank you for posting your comments on NHS Choices website. I am sorry your experience was not as we would like to hear. We would like the opportunity to identify more information, in order to feed this back to the respective staff.

I would advise you to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service immediately on 0800 0282451, who will provide help and support to you, particularly regarding your forthcoming operation.

Best Wishes
