About: Colchester General Hospital

I have never written a review before for anything but the kindness and care i received today i feel i owe it to all of The Elmstead Day Unit team working on reception and Ward B. Having always had horrible experiences in hospitals i was terrified about going into hospital for my surgery today. From the moment i stepped into the building the care i received was out of this world! They were so patient with me as it was quite obvious how scared i was. The staff worked amazingly together and i was never left longer than 15 minutes without somebody coming to check on me and keep me updated. The surgeon i had was lovely and she was very professional. The other 3 ladies i had in the operating room were a credit to the team and i can only thank you all for keeping me smiling. My biggest regret was to of not been so nervous so i could of remembered all of your names! All of the staff working those wards, the surgeons included are a huge credit to Colchester General. Thank you so much!!
