I have just had an appointment at Queen Mary's Sidcup with neurology consultant and have been having really bad headaches for over 3 years, When she started to say that I cant have medication for it and I was being discharged from the neurology clinic. bizarrely I found myself making excuses and saying it may be stress and I may need my eyes tested even though I know it's none of these. The headaches are so bad, I feel I was giving her excuses to push me to the kerb and do nothing and to add insult to injury, she told me to ring the secretary if I would like a lumbar puncture to be done. How will that work out if I have no medical training? How will I know when one is needed? It's madness, i feel really let down by the NHS,
"they just don't care"
