I was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (Squeezed nerve in the wrist for the lay-man). I can hardly move my hand and can't grip and hold objects. If untreated, thumb muscles may wither.
The NHS cannot even look at me before mid March (36 days) - but I could pay £250 and be seen tomorrow - by the same NHS doctor in his private surgery.
Why do I think the waiting time is so long? Greed and preference for the wealthy.
"36 days waiting in pain"
