"Orthopaedic consultation & Epidural steroid..."

I had the pleasure of experience the "NHS" as it should be. Appointment with consultant started with a pleasant meet and greet, on time appointment in good surroundings. Followed by an x-ray on site. In and out in less than hour, and that included an apology for a delay in the x-ray as they were replacing a part in one of their machines. Subsequently I had a day patient epidural injection on a Saturday morning. Again met upon arrival, taken to a private room, ordered My breakfast for after the procedure. All the pre op checks were conducted quickly an efficiently. Post op my breakfast order arrived, i was cared for well with regular checks including a long conversation with the anaesthetist to answer any questions. Left at mid-day The staff were well motivated, organised, caring and the environment was good. If this private hospital can deliver this standard of care at NHS rates then there is no reason for anyone else not to be able to. I would recommend this hospital and treatment team.
