"hasland ward"

About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital

My dad recently spent time on both intensive care and Hasland ward, the care he received was amazing, kind, caring, considerate reassuring, hasland ward was bright clean airy and spacious the staff fantastic but a big mention to the staff and all involved in intensive care. The only downside was the three days he spent in Basil Ward where withtje exception couple of lovely nurses there was a rather nasty don't care attidude and rather sparse infection control procedures, not a nice ward.

Thank you for your post on the NHS Choices site. I am delighted to read that you felt your Dad was cared for in this way - but obviously disappointed that the experience was marred by the few days he spent elsewhere. Please be assured that we share these comments with our teams so they can learn from them. With kind regards Sarah Turner-Saint, Head of Communications
