My husband and I are carers for my daughter who has Down's sydrome and do lots of work with and for Trafford Carers. We're registered at Washway Road Medical Centre and they're really good there. They've got Trafford Carers leaflets in the surgery and most importantly, they've got a note on our file to say that we are carers. This means that they know about our situation and won't ask to speak to our daughter who wouldn't understand things like test results. I know that not all surgeries will do this!
The receptionists there are good too. They always try and accommodate us quickly if they can.
