"Thank you to the hard working & efficient Paed A&E..."

We had to come to Paediatric A&E this afternoon for my 6 year old son. I wanted to write to thank you as the experience was as positive as it can be. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the triage nurse went out of her way to help me mop up when my water bottle spilled all over my bag. I really appreciated your child centred care, all staff speaking to my son directly and the triage nurse put magic cream on my son's hands straight away in case he needed a cannula later it wouldn't hurt. We were seen very quickly by triage, nurse, doctor, X-ray and orthopaedic doctor. The staff were great at explaining to us what they were doing as they checked out how to deal with his unusual and complicated orthopaedic problem and gave us advice and reassurance. We were glad to be sent home with arrangements made for an urgent outpatient appointment. Thank you.
