"Lack of respect for doctors"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

I went in today cos I was suffering from breathing as I have asthma. My GP has prescribed me to get treatment form this hospital, when I suffer from breathing and the nurse totally ignored my GP's decision and told me: on my informing her of this info."that's what GP do they prescribe u to come to hospital" I was shocked to my bones. I came to this hospital to be cured and not to hear her view on GP's I end up going to my friends house and using his son's nebulizer.

We would like to apologise for your experiences at our hospital. It is most likely that you were seen in the Hounslow Urgent Care Centre, based at the front of our accident and emergency department. Although the Hounslow Urgent Care Centre is located in our hospital it is actually run by a separate organisation. Your comments have been passed on to them and they are keen to investigate your issues so that they can provide you with a detailed response. Please get in touch via their PALS team on freephone 0800 953 0363 or email: pals@hrch.nhs.uk
