"Telephone Reviews with so called nurses IBD Team"

About: St James's University Hospital

I am extremely disappointed by your staff who do telephone conversation's I had actually missed two telephone calls. The first one forgot that I was getting a phone call I phoned up and apologized for this. The second time I was on a course and had to have my phone on silent because of this I didn't realize I hadn't put my phone back to normal, the very next day I phoned the IBD team and was told not to worry and my concerns would be passed on.The next thing I get is a letter saying that I have been discharged from the department for missing 3 telephone calls and 3 clinic appointments which is untrue,I hold my hands to missing two telephone appointments, but I won't accept you saying that I have missed 3 clinic appointments because I have never had any clinic appointments. I phoned the IBD team and spoke with the person on the phone and after hearing what I said, they then told me they were reinstating and that I would receive a telephone conversation with specialist nurse on the 10th of June at 18.00 which I never received.Which makes extremely disappointed that your staff at least I had the decency to phone and apologize for my mistake which is more than they do.
