What I liked
was the staff. I have been attending the Royal Free regularly for over a year now, and have been an inpatient a few times during that period. The multi-displinary team I had was absolutely amazing. They made me feel as relaxed as possible, and always did their best to make me happy. I know they went out of their way for me personally, and I am grateful for that, and always make it clear everytime I see one of them. I have stayed in several different wards, so I can't name a particular one, but the nurses were always lovely. I was a nightmare patient at times, but they did their best to make me comfortable and happy, especially as I was having a really tough time, and if I was a bad patient, my parents by my side were worse, yet they were able to understand that and handle it. Everyone was exceptional.
What could be improved
The cleaning staff is not very friendly sometimes, esp the ones on the ward. Also, some of the men who work there, the porters and transport staff, make me feel uncomfortable at times, as they have often made comments as I walk past.
Anything else?
Nope.
