"mums stay"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

I think overall this is an amazing unit. the staff are clearly very busy and i would say short staffed the impact of this was no communication between staff. but during mums 3 week emergancy stay the staff treat mum with the upmost respect. they always had a smile. they all tried there upmost to answer any worries , questions we had, me and my family were amazed at the fantastic care our mum recived and the professionalism of the staff. dispite the staffing problems they were wonderfull. I only have one complaint and that was the catering side every day they was rude to mum regarding her leaving her dinners when dispite the fact every day we wrote on mums menu in red ink, large letters that she cant have gravy. every meal was covered in gravy so she couldnt eat it . this resulted in having drips put up as she didnt eat. . otherwise keep up the good work castle hill your nursing staff are a credit to you
