I have just been in PIU and I have to say my experience of care on this unit was outstandingly good. A well managed area by a hands on ward manager who understood the clinical needs of her patients. Timers were set and responded to rather than ignored, medication was seen as important and delivered on time. The important thing was to care for the patient. So thanks to Jo and all her staff.
