"Money Is God Here"

Having paid for private medical care for 40+ years for the first time I have experienced exactly what one gets and how one is treated. The Consultation was conducted with a very young trainee present but at no time introduced whilst Consultant and trainee discussed me. I consider this very unprofessional. The trainee asked why I was being referred for a MRI scan to which the consultant said and I quote 'It cost more money and it's on insurance'. Arrived for appointment at Northdown to be casually told by reception that appointment had been moved to Ashatead and they had forgotten to tel me. The receptionist was in the middle of a private 'phone call but she did manage to say 'It's OK you've got enough time to get there, did you drive? ' More of an afterthought..... Back to private 'phone call. Abysmal care and service.......
