I paid for my own MRI scan, and paid to see a back surgeon. That was 14th of August last year, and still have no date when I am going for an operation. This is the first time I have been ill and needed treatment. It feels like I have paid into the system (i.e taxes and NI stamps), why have I had to pay for my own MRI scan! and still no date for operation.
