What I liked

firstly i went in for an elective c section in december 2003 and the consultant came in in the morning and introduced himself and explained alot about his medical background and how he would carry out the proceedure.Also he went on to talk about the minimal blood loss in his proceedures due to his proffesionalism and rapid rate.the actual proceedure from opening to closure to recovery was done in just under 15 minutes.I was amazed and so was my partner and whenever my partner talks to any one about my c section he praises the consultant up no end.

Then i was in again again this month for the birth of my second my plan was to have a vbac birth but delays in the second stage meant it was not going to be as straight forward as id liked.

So off to theatre i went for forceps delivery and the registrar started but with not much progress then along came the same consultant and he saved the day.my daughter was born within minutes.

Me and my partner both think the consultant is a great man and he is a credit to the medical proffesion and if every one was like him it would be the best thing.

so not only did the consultant deliver both of my children they were also delivered in the same theatre as well five years apart.

I must also mention a special midwife who was on deben that weekend she was lovely she was so helpful and kind and she saw the birth right through to the bitter end.

She knows who she is.We are very thankful to her as well she is a lovely midwife.
