Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on the NHS Choices website regarding your mother’s care on Ward 19 in South Tyneside District Hospital. I am delighted to read such positive comments regarding your mother’s care and the attitude and effective communications of the staff. It is disappointing to learn of your previous experience in another of our wards prior to your mother’s transfer to Ward 19. It would be helpful for me to know which ward that was in order that we can initiate some learning points from you and your mother’s experience on the other ward.
