"Was not taken seriously!"

About: Ealing Hospital

I went to Ealing Hospital A&E on 12/05/14 with severe abdominal cramping at about 11pm. I told them I was pregnant and was worried something was wrong. They initially sent me in to see a nurse who confirmed I was pregnant (something I already knew) then she told me I would have to wait approx 4 hours to see a doctor. Well when I was told that I decided to go home. Anyway the next day I went to West Middlesex Hospital and it turned out I had an ectopic pregnancy and the fetus was growing in the Fallopian tube. Had to have surgery immediately as if this ruptured I could have died! Disgusting how both the receptionist and nurse didn't take this more seriously! Will never use Ealing Hospital again. Totally incomptenant! Nurse should have known to prioritise this, but she just did not seem to care!
