"lack of concern"

About: Scarborough General Hospital

I've been with my boyfriend yesterday 7th of June around 2 a.m. at Scarborough Hospital because we discovered 5 ticks on his legs. We were attended nicely by the receptionist and afterwards by the doctor who seemed to know very little about this type of insects. Ticks/ mites are very dangerous and can give a lot of types of diseases and it is not recommended to take them out by yourself. Please check google to understand better what I am saying. After being attended by the doctor we were advised to wait until somebody will take the ticks out. We've been sitting in the waiting room for more than 1 hour when a lady came and told us we can go home because the doctor said so and we've been given the medication. We tried to tell her she was wrong and we were very sure we had to wait there because the doctor said so. Her reply was " I don't care what the doctor said. Nobody will take them out. I won't argue with you, I will call the security". We asked to have a word again with the doctor. Few minutes later the lady came and took the registration sheets and my boyfriend was attended after more than 2 hours of being in the hospital. Could it be worse???
