I recently had an ultrasound scan guided injection of my foot in the Imaging Department at QEHB. I arrived 15 minutes early as instructed and was seen within minutes of my arrival by a very pleasant healthcare assistant who greeted me and took me to the room where I was to have the procedure. The assistant chatted to me whilst she made me comfortable. The Radiologist arrived soon after and introduced herself to me and explained everything that was going to happen in an open and friendly way. She gave me the opportunity to ask any questions before proceding. She explained what she was doing as she did the procedure which put me at ease. All together I was in the department around 30 minutes. All of the staff were very professional and friendly, and provided excellent care and treatment. They also made sure I knew what to do and what to expect in the days following the procedure. Thank you to all concerned, you provided the care and treatment that makes me proud of our NHS.
"Excellent professional care"
