"A caring reception would have been welcome"

I had occasion to attend a physiotherapy appointment at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

One is always a little apprehensive attending hospital for any reason and it would have been nice to have been met by a receptionist that could have cared some. Sadly this was not the case. I felt I was interrupting the receptionist's day even though I was the only person waiting.

The rest of the appointment was met with professionalism and courtesy. I felt it was a shame the receptionist let the team down.
