"Caring staff in Hague Ward at Tameside Hospital"

About: Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust / Inpatient mental health care Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust / Older people's mental health

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

This story has been posted by Healthwatch Tameside on behalf of a member of the public. We have their details and will forward any comments to them. They said…

Husband in ward since January and you feel everything has been done for his care. Also, kept me informed of everything – when my husband had to have new treatment signed a consent form to avoid section. Phoned up to say this and that makes you feel part of the ‘ongoing’ care and involved.

Upset one day and the nurses were caring and understanding. Good group of staff who despite always busy have time to care.
