Hello, My wife is presently a patient in your hospital and I have no complaints about her care or how she has been treated. I am trying to get her released back into my care at home. She has Alzheimers but was being treated for an infection she caught before she entered hospital,

however she has been there since 20th Dec.and is now said to be well enough to be discharged. There seems to be some " dispute " as to who will pay for her ongoing care when she is released. In the mean time I am spending my time in driving back and forward to the hospital on a daily basis. As it is mentioned to me, by various people, part of their concern, when she is discharged, is the strain it will put on me as a carer but I wish to state that the daily grind of visiting the hospital, finding a place to park and walking in the cold and rain is taking it`s toll on my health not to mention my pocket. I have done all I can to assist my wife and I do so willingly knowing that she would do her very best for me. What I am asking for is either a speedy decision on her release or a transfer to Hythe hospital (if that is possible). At Hythe she can be visited by friends and relations who all live in the area.Should you wish to contact me personally then I will be in Stanley Graveson Ward, each day until her release
