"ward 8 what an awful place to be"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

my little one was recently admitted after becoming very poorly and i was just appalled at the lack of care and compassion on this ward. the staff do not listen to parents even when the parents are right (which most of the time they are) and this sometimes results in children becoming worse which was the case for my little one.. The ward is very dull and boring considering its a children s ward and play room was shut all weekend and Monday so my little one could not even have any toys. Some of the staff are lovely but some are very rude and do not actually seem interested in the children there treating. i would never recommend r.p.h ward 8 to anyone. i will go to Manchester or Liverpool if i ever find myself having to take my child again.
