"Pancreatic surgery"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

2 months ago I was admitted for surgery for removal of Spleen, Gall Bladder and part of Pancreas. My first two days after surgery were spent in HDU and the care was second to none - 24 hours a day. The staff were both considerate and courteous. I was later sent to the normal ward which although it was part of the old hospital and the facilities were far from 'up to date', the staff and care given were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved from my surgeon to his team, staff on HDU and all the staff on the general ward. Thankyou! XXXXXXX
