"Xrays. Seriously not happy"

About: The Great Western Hospital

I had to visit the xray department recently, I was sent urgently by my GP because she suspects I have Rheumatoid or Psoriatic Arthritis and was told the results would be in days...a week later the Great Western still hadn't sent the results, I had blood tests taken a few days ago at GP surgery and the results of that are back but still no xray results 2 weeks on! I am in severe pain and stiffness with my hands and one finger is permanently bent and swollen excessively and I am struggling at work and can't give them answers all because Great Western cant send some poxy xrays to a GP surgery a few miles down the road. Alot of stress and worrying and pain that could be being given meds for by now if it weren't for their delays. Also from previous experience with my husband who spent some time there after an accident and several operations to fix his broken bones but no results, so they reffered him to a hospital in Oxford and they did 1 operation and have healed him and found he had lost length in his leg due to breaks and have fixed that...something Great Western didn't even pick up on and after several operations couldn't fix....8 years after his accident thanks to a hospital in Oxford he is now fully healed but up till this last operation he was in alot of pain, couldn't walk without a crutch or walking stick and Great Western couldn't give answers....they should have sent him to the Oxford hospital after the second operation failed.
