"Surgical Day Unit"

5 Stars is not enough! This department is a center of excellence. From reception to anaesthetics, surgeon nurses and HCA, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Better than that, they are efficient, skilled team. Sunderland has an enviable service and anyone considering surgery that can be done as a day patient need have no reservations about this facility. I would not hesitate to recommend it as it took away all the trepidation and anxiety of admission. This hospital should be very proud of this department, in my very humble opinion.
