My daughter cracked 2 bones in her foot, went to the minor injury unit in Wycombe and had an excellent experience resulting in a protective boot being fitted and told to keep it on for 6 weeks. Follow up outpatient appointment at Stoke Mandeville oh boy what a difference the doctor seemed to have no interest and aggravated the injury again with his examination, only became interested when asked about a planned hiking trip. He then went into full defensive mode and advised that it might take longer to heel than the 2-3 weeks his said just a few seconds before. I wonder if this doctor should consider doing something else in life because he certainly gave the impression he was not interested in his current position.
