"My Dad had a very bad fall in the street."

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

I cannot praise St Georges enough. The only slight quibble was over pain relief for my Dad. The ambulance could not administer Morphine because of my Dad`s weak veins. My Dad had no pain relief initially when I spoke very politely to the nurse who appeared to be in charge. I did not appreciate the `you do realise there are other patients` lecture. My Dad was in agony and not to have pain relief immediately peeved me. However, from then on, all was superb. My Dad was kept in the Clinical Diagnostics Unit overnight. Very clean. Nurses could not be more friendly. Very satisfied with Dads Care. Suggestion. Why don`t staff have identification any more? If there are privacy issues, say just `Doctor`. Initially I did not appreciate the person was a Doctor, until I asked who are you? I would certainly recommend St Georges.
