What I liked
cleanliness on ward 27
What could be improved
hygiene standards on ward 8 when treating patients 1 mrsa posative were appalling no gloves,no hand gel used and no hand washing when going to different patients this MUST be improved also communication between patients relatives with some members of staff needs improvement ie answering questions instead of walking away ignoring them
Anything else?
When a patient who has been discharged and is readmitted 5 days later clearly unwell, consultants MUST check all previous diagnosis"s and not just suspect previous diagnosed problems have got better, healthcare records need to be thouroughly checked and all previous diagnosed conditions noted and checked again to ensure that mistakes in a patients ( my mam) care dont occur again.A consultants and nurses jobs are to provide care, diagnosis"s and treatment not assumptions, anticipations and not to just suspect a previous diagnosed condition has just gone away
